The Technology and Development Centre in Erfurt was opened in July 2016. The location serves as innovation centre and logistics location for the SCHAEFER web shop. It is unconditionally geared towards the fastest possible delivery of standardised panels and components for all aspects of lift construction (ex stock).
Besides the webshop logistics, the technology development (hardware and software development) and the EMC competence centre are also located here.
